I took this photograph today while down checking the surf conditions. The surf was no good, but as I turned to leave I spotted this old guy just chillin' and watching the ocean. He barely moved, seemed quite lost in thought, about what who knows? But I like to think he was looking back on days gone by and his time spent out fishing that sea. Now I decided to play with this image using photoshop to help illustrate the way the moment felt to me.

Old Tractor
I snapped this photograph the other day while driving past a little farm in Japan. It was the smallest sugar cane farm I had ever seen. I spend years living in North Queensland Australia and am used to seeing massive farms the size of small towns. What an awesome scene this was, and here is the old guys tractor, looks hardy as hell!

Silhouettes at Sunset - Photography
Had a play around with some photographs at sunset, I was looking to frame theses awesome sunset photographs with a natural silhouette of the plants and trees in the foreground. I think they came out pretty good, but it was more to do with the beauty that unfolded in front of me then any real skill as a photographer.

Hibiscus At Sunset
I was parked near the beach today, while checking out the sunset, waiting for it to be just right to get some nice photographs to share with you all. I noticed this bunch of pink Hibiscus flowers and thought I would take a few photos of them while I waited for nature to do its thing.

Diving Photography - Okinawa Japan
This was my first attempt at photography while diving. I love diving, but I am still at a beginner level, so I hope these photographs don't disappoint. Enjoy my first underwater photographic expose! Visibility wasn't very good by Okinawa standard due to a very heavy rain squall, but it was a peaceful dive/photo session down below the waters surface!

The Draining Moon
This is a photograph I wish I had been able to take 2 night earlier. The moon was full then and amazing, but by the time I got a good vantage spot to grab a picture away from the howling wind that was blowing my tripod and camera all over the place, the moon slipped behind the clouds and the moment passed. I caught it out tonight in a clearish sky with no wind, hope you all enjoy this photograph.

Sunrise Through the Weeds
I spotted this crazy weed, while I was down checking the surf this morning. I really liked the way the sunrise was highlighting it and so whipped out my old faithful Canon Digital Camera and snapped this photograph. I hope you enjoy, and a big thank you to all who have taken the time to make comments on my other photographs.

Harbor Sunset Photography
So I was sitting on the sofa just relaxing away on one of my very rare days off, watching a movie that was less than interesting. Then it happened, that magical moment when the sun drops low and gets caught in the clouds. The less than beautiful scene of the harbor transformed into what you see in the pictures below. My apartment is noisy and industrial, but most everyday it has it's moments. I hope you enjoy these sunset photographs I took.

Waterfalls
Three of my favorite waterfalls of my youth, I recently found these three photographs I took nearly 15 years ago, scanned them in and decided to share them with the world.
